Every Collection Begins Differently

Every collection has a different beginning.

Sometimes it starts with a room I've imagined from the ground up. Other times, it begins with a single piece I stumble across while scrolling—a beautiful accent chair, a patterned table runner, a unique lamp, or a piece of artwork that immediately catches my eye. The moment I see it, my mind starts asking questions. What would the rest of this room look like? What colors belong with it? What furniture would make it shine?

Before I know it, one beautiful piece has grown into an entire space.

Other times, I don't start with an item at all. I start with a feeling. Maybe I want to create something cozy for a rainy afternoon, a bright coastal retreat, or a timeless space that feels collected over time. Those collections are often my favorite because they're the kinds of rooms I'd genuinely want to live in myself.

Before Magnolia Coast became the collection library it is today, friends and family were already asking me to do this for them. They'd call and say, "Can you help me decorate this room?" or "Can you find furniture that all works together?" They didn't just want product links—they wanted someone to help them visualize the space.

I found myself creating mood boards for guest bedrooms, family rooms, vacation rentals, and even an Airbnb, gathering furniture, décor, color palettes, and shopping options so everything felt cohesive before a single purchase was made.

Some of the collections you'll explore on Magnolia Coast actually began as custom boards I created for friends, family, and real homes before I ever imagined sharing them online.

After doing that over and over, I realized something.

I was already doing what I loved.

Around that same time, during quiet moments in prayer, I kept feeling led to become an affiliate—not simply to share products, but to share thoughtfully curated spaces that could inspire others to create homes they love. I brushed it off more than once, thinking it was just another passing idea. But the feeling never really left.

Eventually I stopped making excuses and simply said, "Okay, God...I'll give it a try and see what happens."

That's how Magnolia Coast naturally evolved—from creating custom laser-crafted pieces into curating complete spaces that anyone can recreate in their own home.

Today, every collection is created the same way I'd create one for a friend or family member: thoughtfully, intentionally, and one beautiful piece at a time. My hope is that each collection helps you not only discover products you love, but also inspires you to create a home that feels welcoming, lived in, and uniquely yours.

As a mom of four, this journey has become even more meaningful. It allows me to pursue a lifelong passion while being present for the people who matter most. These years with my children are passing far too quickly, and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to build something I love while soaking up every little moment with them.

Magnolia Coast has changed over the years, but the heart behind it never has.

I'm still that little girl who couldn't wait for the Sunday paper so she could cut out furniture, sketch floor plans, and imagine beautiful homes. The only difference now is that I get to share those ideas with you.
